5 Steps in Photoshop CS3.
Should work in earlier versions.
01.Crop your base.
Make sure to choose an image where the main focus isn't centered. Similar to the example.
02.Create a colour balance layer with the following settings:
Midtones:+20 0 +1
Shadows:+22 +9 +41
Highlights:-1 0 -4
preserve luminosity should be checked.
03. Add this texture:
. Set it to screen.04.Then create a levels layer with these settings:
Channel:RGB
Input levels: 12 1 230
05.Then Make a fill layer with this colour #f3f3f3 set to multiply.
